Spray GFRC, also called simultaneous GRC or hand-sprayed GRC, is the original method of producing GRC products. Developed in the late 1960s, it is still widely used today.
With a proven track record of performance, durability and flexibility going back over 40 years, it is the most commonly used method of production throughout the world. This is not to say it can be manufactured with ease – as a specialist material, Spray GRC manufacture is quite different to other types of concrete production, requiring it to be manufactured correctly by skilled and experienced operatives. Buyers should always approach selecting a GRC supplier manufacturing in Spray Process GRC with a pro-active approach to due diligence.
Made in Yorkshire
Syntec GRC is centrally based, just off the MI motorway opposite the Meadowhall Shopping Centre in Sheffield. The area has a history and culture going back centuries of high quality manufacturing craftsmanship. We are proud to operate as a local company with that same commitment to being the best and maintaining the heritage of the area we operate from.
Spray GRC usage
Simultaneous sprayed GRC is widely used in producing larger non-structural items used in construction due to its strength, relative light weight, and high levels of weather and fire resistance. Common uses include cladding panels and building facades. Smaller components, on the other hand, are primarily produced using Premix GRC.
